our story

Manta sos guide has been a host in Manta Ecuador for The Discovery Channel and its show Extreme fishing. November 11th 20013, Robson Green  and his staff arrived to Manta- Ecuador after filming in the  jungle; with 25 suitcases of equipment we started our journey   through our Manabita coast to Puerto Lopez where our Manta SOS team was waiting for us, once we arrived Robson and his crew started filming, I was so tired from organizing everything and at the same time so exited about all this; after filming on the beach of Puerto Lopez, we went to our hotel, and finally got some rest. The next day Robson, Lyndsay, Luc, Peter and I went to Montanita to have a day of surfing, taking advantage that it was our day off; they took surf lessons from one of my buddies there, I didn’t go with them because I get to surf in Manta every day :) and also I just wanted to make sure that all the arrangements for our trip next day were perfect. After an awesome day in Montanita we went back to the hotel.

3:30am, my driver and I went to pick up Robson and the rest of the crew and go to the pier where Angel our fisherman expert was waiting, once on the boat we started our trip towards Isla de La Plata, I am not telling you what we caught obviously, you have to watch.
I have to say that Robson Green ended up being a great guy.
