Another of our protected settlements, very important to us due to its history and archeology, is Cerro Jaboncillo, where we have found pieces that are from 2 to 3 thousand years ago that belonged to the first tribe who started working with clay .
These settlements are still being excavated, so we will be able to witness real fossils and artifact of some the tribes that lived on the coast, built their communities and raised their families. The settlement has a museum, with many archeological pieces from the Pache Culture, Valdivia, and Chorrera. We will also visit the fish market to see how the fishermen bring in the fish to the shore, the boatyard to look how they build our wooden fishing boats, then we will visit one of the hats factories to see how these master pieces are made. Highly recommended to cruise ships. We adjust the time to your cruise arrival.
